Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information such as name, email, username, authentication data, and account status.
• Telegram connection information such as chat ID, link status, and notification settings.
• MT5 and cTrader connection information such as platform, account login, broker server, currency, connection status, adapter version, and authentication metadata.
• Account and trade information needed for Guardrail evaluation, including position and trade identifiers, symbols, direction, volume, open and close prices, realized profit or loss, stop loss, take profit, timestamps, account balance, equity and margin fields, and relevant instrument or market fields.
• Guardrail events, Intervention records, rule settings, Contracts, account reviews, Insights, milestones, and Weekly Recaps.
• Product analytics events describing how TradingSerene is used, such as activation milestones, platform selection (MT5 or cTrader), device choice, controlled failure categories, and how you first reached TradingSerene, including referral source, medium, and campaign. These events are recorded against a pseudonymous account identifier rather than your name, email, or username, and are collected only if you allow analytics.
• Billing identifiers when billing is enabled, and support communications you send to us.

What we do not collect

• TradingSerene does not request your broker password. Platform adapters connect with a one-time TradingSerene connection code and then use an adapter authentication key.
• TradingSerene does not directly collect full bank or card details; payment details are handled by a payment provider when billing is enabled.
• TradingSerene does not ask you to provide trading signals or a strategy. It processes the account activity and user-chosen Guardrails needed to operate the service.
• Product analytics does not use session replay and does not automatically capture your page views, clicks, or other on-page interactions. It records a specific, limited set of product events.
• Product analytics does not receive your email, username, phone number, Telegram username or chat ID, broker or server details, platform account login, connection codes, adapter keys, balance, equity, margin, profit or loss, trade or instrument data, Protection or Contract values, or the content of your Fingerprint, Insights, or Weekly Recaps.

How information is used

• To evaluate user-chosen Guardrails, provide real-time Alerts and supported Intervention, and create account reviews and Insights.
• To maintain account security, authentication, Telegram linking, and MT5 EA or cTrader bot authentication.
• To support troubleshooting, customer support, and product reliability.
• To provide billing and access management when billing is enabled.
• To understand how TradingSerene is used, measure activation and conversion, identify product friction, and improve the service using operational and product usage data.

Sharing

• Telegram is used to deliver messages when you connect Telegram alerts.
• Payment providers may process billing details when billing is enabled.
• Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers may process data needed to run the service.
• PostHog provides product analytics. Our PostHog project is configured in PostHog's EU Cloud region. TradingSerene's own database remains the authoritative record of the events described above.
• We may disclose information when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or safety reasons.
• We do not sell user data.

Data retention

• We keep account and protection data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
• Saved protection records and Guardrail settings remain until deleted, changed, or your account is removed.
• You can request deletion by contacting support, subject to operational, legal, and security limits.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards for account data, Telegram linking tokens, and adapter API key storage. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.

International processing

TradingSerene may process and store information across jurisdictions depending on hosting, infrastructure, support, and service providers.
